Our Christmas Concert
Our Christmas Concert at Bearsden Burgh Hall on the 4th December was a great success and was enjoyed by all. Particular highlights included the Symphony Orchestra playing the Overture to Romeo and Juliet by Tchaikovsky, the Concert Orchestra playing the New World Symphony and Indiana Jones, the Wind Ensemble playing Scooby Doo and Winter Wonderland and the String Orchestra playing Sleeping Beauty. There was also time for some wonderful soloists and some sectional playing, including an interesting and innovative Wind and Brass improvisation on a Winter Scene led by Nicole McNeilly. A wonderful evening was then rounded off with some carol singing.
